Ok, here is my official nick, pls call me TheArtsImp.
Anyway, I changed the pic cuz got some comments about it being too morbid lol. Hey, at least I showed the reality of life. Or perhaps I'm just trying to act artistic.
Anyway, heres a philosophical question. How do you know that what you see b4 u exists? Can our existence be just a dream? A dream that we do not noe we are dreaming about? Cuz we never know when we are dreaming can we? Unless we are talking about "lucid dreams". I had lucid dreams b4 and lemme tell u, its damn exciting. You'd be in the zone between sleep and consciousness. You'd think about something and when you close your eyes, you will dream about what you thought of. Its pretty cool, there's a floating sensation and bam! You are in the dream. But most dreams aren't like that. Most times we'd never know we are dreaming and what we dream will appear utterly logical to us.
One time I dreamt I was piloting a space craft, with no windows to block off the vacuum outside. And I didn't feel it was weird at all.
The implication here is ; What is knowledge? Can we really be sure of what we know? What if what we know isn't what we think we know? But does it MATTER? Is the chasing of knowledge, of truth to be placed on a pedestal? Hmmm.. Or can it be, if we think it exists, it doesn't matter if it really does? For example, in the Matrix, the guy who betrayed Neo was eating a steak, and he was saying, " I know its the Matrix telling me this steak is juicy, but frankly I don't care."

Humans do not like to be jolted from a stable life, their comfort zone. It doesn't really matter whether anything is real or not, as long as we lead a good life. Right?
