Recently, my group of girl pals are having problems with their own bfs.
This led me to reflect on the duties that both partners need to perform in order for a felicitious relationship.
Guy
Must love the girl
must not take the girl for granted
must be attentive
must learn to understand that she might have difficulties and if she flares at you, you should understand and love her even more
must look at the girl everyday as if it was the 1st day you fell in love with her
must appreciate what she does for you
must learn to still love her when she punches you and you aren't at fault
must cook her her favourite dishes
Girl
don't keep thinking it is a girl's right to have the guys give in everytime
when you ask "why can't he understand what I am going through??" ask yourself, have you tried to understand him?
Don't expect the guy to read your mind
If he tried 100%, treasure him for his efforts and don't be so ungrateful
Appreciate him
If you don't love him, tell him straight
If you do, don't nitpick if he is trying his best
Give each other the strength to carry on loving each other and don't let quarrels and misunderstandings sap this strength. If you know you did him wrong or if u know u made her sad, be brave enough to admit it.
