~~Shooting for the Moon~~

Ok I'm gonna force you all to read my poems. First one was written in my army days. I remembered I was bringing the sick platoon to the Medical Centre and while waiting, I wrote it. The 2nd was written juz today. lol. Lost quite a few though thru the years.

Apollo has run his course,
now its time to rest his tired horse.
The silver moon is hidden behind a cluster of clouds,
and that has place the world under a shroud Now a gentle wind starts to blow,
from their guarded treasure the clouds starts to flee and away flow.
Shimmering blades of crystal silver hits the ground,
onto the unyielding earth this magical light pounds
Half the world is asleep,
and their secrets the dark do keep
Hush hush, the nite has fallen deep,
So close ur eyes now and go to sleep

Innocence Lost

Innocence has been lost,
At what cost?
Never shall we gaze,
At thy childlike face.
Never shall we hear,
thy carefree cheers.
Instead we see tears,
And we fear,
That the cost of losing Innocence,
Might be too dear.
